All classes are paid for as monthly membership subscriptions. The cost ranges from as little as £5.00 to £6.50 an hour depending upon your chosen venue. All youth classes run for 1.5 hours. A membership subscription helps us to inspire commitment from our members and enables classes to work towards performances and projects.
Class Act Drama Centre classes and theatre projects are not dependant on external funding. Due to continual cuts in arts funding, in order for the centre to offer these opportunities there are subs payable for rehearsals and tuition to ensure continuity and completion of projects. This enables us to provide fully qualified and experienced professional acting coaches/ directors who will tutor & train the cast and who will hold advanced CR/DBS checks, plus associated insurance, venue hire & script costs. Subscription fees are £9.75 per week ( £39 via calendar monthly standing order ) * This maybe lower depending on your chosen venue but is capped at £39. There are no fixed term contracts other than a month's notice to cancel a membership place. Full terms and conditions will be supplied upon enquiry. Siblings will be offered a discounted rate.
There are a limited amount of scholarship places that provide free training for those young candidates who are not in a financial position to contribute to fees, opportunities to apply for scholarships become available annually and are subject to an application and review process.
